It shouldn’t claim incompatibility, they are certainly compatible with one another (the protocol hasn’t changed). Can you provide a snapshot showing this?
We’re working with REV to add the 10.2 version to the REV Hardware Client, but the effort has run into a couple technical difficulties. Once it has been successfully added, it will be available through the client. However, you can download the 10.2 FTC Driver Station APK here:

Hahaha, “Amish signs”. That’s the first time I’ve heard of that one. Having driven through Amish country on many occasions, I can appreciate the reference.
The warning does not indicate incompatibility, it only states that the versions do not match. In previous seasons we had a requirement that the versions match, but the Competition Manual this season does not include such language. We prefer to have the versions match for maximum compatibility, but again the rules this season do not require that the versions match.
Knowing insider information, versions 10.1 and 10.2.0 are fully “compatible” to use. However, if you want the 10.2 version before it gets added to the REV Hardware Client, you can side-load it using the instructions I provided.
