Power Distribution Blocks

Hey there everyone!

I have not found in the current or past game manuals a list of acceptable power distribution blocks, just references on the website to some that are legal, like the REV and goBilda XT30 distribution blocks. So, I am just wondering if someone has a list or can point me to a reference somewhere that shows that this system he demonstrates in the video is legal. From everything I can see, I don’t think it is a problem, but I don’t want to invest in a new system and spend time prepping all of our stuff to utilize it, convert wires, etc, if it is not going to end up being legal.

In the competition manual there are no explicit restrictions on the types or methods of power distribution, as long as all other rules are adhered to (safety, wire size and colors, etc). While we do not tend to reference things specifically in random online videos, it is true that R601.B allows for replacement of connectors on batteries and cables. Be sure to remove your fuse from the battery before performing this change.
